Bayeux, D-Day beaches
On June 6, 1944, the Normandy beaches
and in particular in Calvados, were
the centre of Operation Overlord,
during which 150.000 allied landed
to liberate France. Special historical
circuits retrace the various phases
of the Battle of Normandy as you travel
through the different sites
