Vire
This interesting town is within the
Calvados borders, in the plentiful
Bocage area, Vire is proclaimed as
"The Capital of Andouillettes,
Granite and Steel". A curious
and original association, it's true,
but there is also its famous National
Theatre - and Clock Tower! Vire is
also in a naturally strongly defended
situation with its many valleys and
sinuous small rivers: a city in the
countryside….
